The Classic Rock Show at De Montfort Hall, Review

If you’re a die-hard fan of classic rock, The Classic Rock Show is a must-see. Tribute shows sometimes get a lot of stick, but this one pays homage to the classics and bring them to life in an electric night. Everybody will have a different impression of classic rock, so don’t worry if your favourite isn’t played this time, because they change the set-list every year! This tribute band takes you on a wild ride through the greatest hits of rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, AC/DC, Queen, and so many more.

From the moment the show kicks off, you’re back in the moment as the band flawlessly recreates iconic performances with note-for-note precision. You’ll be impressed with their mannerisms and their particular when it comes to stage presence. It’s generally a massively feel-good rock tribute.

Now, I’ll admit, rock isn’t my music taste, and they didn’t play most of my favourites. But, I was in awe of their skills and I’d taken a pro-rock gal friend with me who was massively impressed with the performance. These musicians are the real deal.

The second half of the show brought some hits, including a killer rendition of ‘Bat Out of Hell‘, and a powerful performance of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” The band seem to be really in their element when they’re belting out big rock songs with strong riffs that make you want to jump out of your seat. And let’s talk about that guitar duel – it’s a showstopper, plain and simple.

Another highlight for me was Rudy Cardenas, lead vocalist, and Jess Harwood’s complementary voices bringing a beautiful rendition of ‘The Chain’ by Fleetwood Mac. This is my favourite Fleetwood Mac hit so I loved hearing it. Their voices together were truly stunning.

From the hip-thrusting tunes of the ’50s to the electrifying energy of the ’80s, The Classic Rock Show covers it all. With their incredible range of skills and killer sound, this eight-piece band delivers the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll experience.

So if you find yourself craving a night of epic guitar riffs, unforgettable solos, and timeless classics, do yourself a favour and catch The Classic Rock Show. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
