⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friends: The Parody is the closest thing we’re likely to get to a true Friends reunion and it delivers in obvious nods to the show, whilst bringing a whole new set of songs. It’s a comical tribute that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly what makes it such a joy.
Eva Hope as Rachel Green is absolutely phenomenal. She captures Rachel’s tone, facial expressions, and mannerisms to a T. Every flick of the hair and sarcastic one-liner feels like it’s straight out of a classic episode. She’s a true standout and honestly has you feeling like Jennifer Aniston is on stage.
This parody has musical numbers, and they are gloriously ridiculous. From the funny “2 Girls 1 Condom” to “495 Grove Street” and the unforgettable “Oh My God, It’s Janice.” The soundtrack adds an extra layer of fun for fans in the know to appreciate inside jokes – because seriously how did Monica afford that place!?
Edward Leigh is a comedic powerhouse, bringing laughs as Gunther, Tom Selleck, and Paolo. I loved how he was a running side joke and was another standout despite being secondary roles. His timing and character work are spot-on, stealing scenes with ease. Meanwhile, Daniel Parkinson as Janice is incredible, not only nailing her iconic laugh and attitude, but also somehow perfecting Chandler’s awkward running and dancing too, which is no small feat!
The show is filled with clever gags and brilliant nods to iconic moments from the series. Think turkey dancing, leather pants, “PIVOT!”, and yes, even the infamous “We were on a break!” But fair warning: some of the humour might go over the heads of anyone who isn’t deeply familiar with the show. This is a love project for the fans.
In short, Friends: The Parody is a great laugh and the closest thing to seeing our favourite six together again. If you’re a Friends fanatic like us, it’s absolutely worth the watch. You’ll laugh, you’ll sing, and you’ll probably walk out shouting “Oh. My. God!” in the best way.
P.S don’t forget to take a photo on the sofa!
