A delightful production sure to get the entire family in the festive mood.

De Montfort Hall and Imagine Theatre bring the magic of Cinderella to Leicester this year in their star studded pantomime. Cinderella (Evie Pickerill) works day and night but dreams of a different life when Dandini (Curtis Pritchard) brings an invitation to the royal ball. Will Cinderella find happiness with Prince Charming (AJ Pritchard) with the help of Buttons (Jarred Christmas) and her Fairy Godmother (Madison Swan) or will her stepsisters (Millie Robins and Sophie Camble) and evil godmother (Jacob Kohli) ruin her dreams?
Filled with bops to sing along too and cheesy jokes a dozen, the well-loved story of Cinderella is sure to be a hit amongst children and adults alike. Fabulous choreography, toe-tapping tunes and all the panto magic, De Montfort Hall have really brought a wonderful pantomime show this year.

The moment Cinderellas rags are transformed into a beautiful ballgown is an exceptional highlight. Paired with killer vocals from Madison Swan and a glorious light show, the moment is one that truly brings goosebumps. Moments like these are the ones that bring the panto magic to life and captivate the audience.
Loveable Buttons keeps the audience participation strong, and the reactive acting is one that deserves a special mention. Not to mention, the performance of 12 Days of Christmas with Curtis Pritchard, Jarred Christmas and Richard J Fletcher (The Dame) is incredibly comical and absolute chaos. We were in stitches with poor Curtis taking the brunt of the joke.
Our one year old was mesmerised by the show, sitting watching the whole performance with admiration. She clapped and joined in and loved pointing out Cinderella and Prince Charming.
Cinderella is on until January 2nd at De Montfort Hall so don’t miss out on this wonderful show. Perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit – or a filler for those days between Christmas and the New Year where we’re all navigating some sort of chaotic mess!
